Sneak Peeks

Sneak Peeks are short, focused explorations at the piano — usually centered around just four measures of a standard song.

Rather than trying to "learn the whole tune," we linger in a small musical space and look at it from different angles. The same few measures are revisited, varied, and gently reshaped, so you can feel what's possible rather than racing to the next thing.

These sessions are for anyone who wants to explore their own creativity at the keys.

If you've ever felt a bit uncertain with lead sheets, this is a natural way in. By staying with a small slice of music, you can experiment, listen more closely, and build confidence without pressure. You begin to see patterns, hear relationships, and discover options you might not notice when moving too quickly through a song.

Throughout all the years of my own musical development, nothing ever quite replaced those precious moments when I had the chance to look over the shoulder of a pianist I admired. Those encounters were brief — usually just a few minutes — but they were deeply formative.

With this collection, I wanted to offer you that same feeling of sitting beside another pianist, listening, watching, and absorbing. Altogether, it's a little over six hours of that kind of close, personal coaching.

The real benefit shows up later — when you return to your favorite tunes. What you've explored in a few measures here tends to travel with you: new ideas, new ears, and a more relaxed sense of possibility at the piano.

Think of Sneak Peeks as taking a thoughtful look through a small window — and finding that what you see opens up much more than you expected.
